English Language Eligibility

What is a Certificate of Eligibility?

A Certificate of Eligibility for English Language Education (Déclaration d’admissibilité à l’enseignement en anglais) is a Quebec-government issued document allowing a child to attend a subsidized English Elementary or Secondary school. It is not required for post-secondary education.

Quebec English Language Eligibility Certificates not required to attend ÌÒÑÕÃÛÉ«

Selwyn House no longer accepts Quebec government grants, therefore, all candidates who apply, despite their previous language of study or immigration status, will be able to submit an application and, if accepted, attend the school.

Although eligibility certificates are no longer required, the school will still assist families in getting their sons’ eligibility certificates, if they qualify.
This document is important for all students who wish to have their eligibility rights passed down to future generations.
